He worked at the station between 1993 and 1999, where he presented the Note and note and then the Program Ana Maria Braga. It was in 1999 that it changed stations and became part of Globo’s mornings.
Ana Maria said, in an interview on the PodPah podcast, that, at the beginning of her television career, the production of the program was precarious. She said the scenery was painted to simulate household appliances, such as the refrigerator.
“There was no kitchen there. I set up a counter, put a bucket of water under it, behind it they drew the refrigerator, they painted it, they created a scene as if there was a stove behind it. There was nothing and I brought things from home: I had no pots, I had no fork and so the kitchen was born,” she revealed.
The presenter also said she went to court against Record after being fired without just cause. She explained that she received her salary on time, but after making the payment, the relationship fell apart.
“I said, ‘look, we have this business and I need it.’ Then she said, “it won’t work and if you are not satisfied, the front door is the house door.” Then I got up and said ‘here’s the thing: on Monday we have a plan, I’m leaving and not coming back, but if you want I’ll stay next week so you can find someone to take my place’ ‘. Then he said “there’s no need”. I left and went to the lawyer, I filed a lawsuit against Record which I won 10 years later, because legally there was no justification [para a dispensa]it wasn’t plausible,” he said.
After moving to Globo, Ana Maria has been responsible for Mais Você from 1999 to today.
