Shifty Shellshock, lead singer of the band Crazy Town, has died at the age of 49 at his home in Los Angeles, United States
The musician had three children and a history of drug addiction. In 2008, he was part of the cast of the reality show ‘Celebrity Rehab’, which featured super-famous artists in a rehabilitation clinic. He suffered a relapse and returned to participate in the second season.
Last year he was embroiled in a new controversy when he was arrested for drunk driving. At the time he was arrested for driving a black SUV at a zigzag while under the influence of alcohol.
Career!
In 1992, Shell shock he knew Bret Mazurco-founder of Crazy Town, which was initially called Sulfur beaters. Years later, in 1999, with the addition of new members to the band, they reformulated and adopted the current name.
The most famous song was “butterfly‘, released in 2000, with a sample of “Pretty Little Ditty”, by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Despite their success, Crazy Town disbanded in 2002, after releasing their second album.
