The compatriot, known as a couple with his brother Ralf, died a month ago, at the age of 67. The cause of death was septic shock. Chrystian was admitted to a private hospital in São Paulo. On the occasion, his brother Ralf also published a public letter in memory of the singer.

“My dear brother… Even though we were far away, in a few minutes, before going on stage, I reflected… Life has blessed us so much, that we often manage to catch Chrystian and Ralf in the same space of time and day, our legacy, our music,” he wrote on social media.

After the death, the estrangement of the two came to light, who in recent years had stopped keeping in touch. This Friday 19 Ralf denied his departure in an interview with the program The nightby Danilo Gentili.

“I was the one who said we didn’t talk to each other. I’m dyslexic, so everything you say, because I grew up on the streets, I turn it into an image. I don’t have a semicolon,” he tried to justify himself.

Immediately after his death and in the face of controversy surrounding his brothers, his widow also took a stand with a letter on social media. “I will not carry burdens that are not mine. My commitment is for the musical legacy that Chrystian left and for my two children, who like me, need support at this time,” she wrote at the time.
