Roberto Carlos Recovers Health, Leaves Brazil and Plans First Tour of 2025

On his way to 84, the singer shows an impressive willingness to complete marathon shows during long journeys.

He doesn’t stop! Roberto Carlos is ready to resume his concert schedule after being struck by a cold that caused the cancellation of the September 7 show next to the National Shrine of Aparecida.

This week he will leave for a season abroad. He will cross the Azores (Portuguese territory in the Atlantic), Geneva (Switzerland), Madrid (Spain) and Paris (France). In Portugal there will be two presentations in Lisbon and two more in Braga.

Until the end of the year he will also perform in Assunção (Paraguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and in some Brazilian cities, such as Goiânia (Goiás) and São José do Rio Preto (São Paulo).

On November 27, the artist will receive thousands of fans at Allianz Parque, the Palmeiras stadium in the capital of São Paulo, to record what could be his last end-of-year special on Globo. Negotiations for the renewal of his contract are at a standstill.

Roberto Carlos will go on vacation in January and February. He will return to work in March, aboard the Costa Pacífica ship, where the Project Além do Horizonte exhibitions will take place.

The first overseas tour in 2025 will be in Mexico, with performances in Mérida, Puebla, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City in May, shortly after his 84th birthday. The “king” of romance has a large fan club in the country of drama.

The idol has already been honored in a Televisa soap opera, “Dos Hogares” (Two Seats). In the 2011 storyline, a student named Adela (Claudia Álvarez) was his groupie, with the right to hum hits in Spanish and “flirt” with his posters on the wall.
