The star of a major meme involving the festival, the famous catchphrase ‘today is rock day, baby’, she returned to Rock in Rio to earn money as a poster girl for a snack bar chain. In addition to visiting the company’s booth, she took part in other brand activations and the event’s VIP stage.

Speaking of memes, the actress wore a look inspired by her iconic phrase. She explained to Quem magazine that, since it was the 40th edition of the festival, it made sense to remember this great moment.

“This is tradition. A good whiskey is made: month after month it ages and with each Rock in Rio it becomes more vintage,” said Christiane, who also spoke about some memories of the festival. “Every year is a year. This Deep Purple show was amazing and anyone who hasn’t seen it, has to see it. Now there’s Joss Stone again, who makes everyone dance. And what I like the most is this feeling that we are collectively at peace, celebrating, without misogyny, without racism, all hugging each other. It’s very beautiful, it’s a beautiful exchange.”

She is currently acting in the show Dois de Nós, at the Tuca Theater, in São Paulo. In the work, she acts alongside her on-screen colleague, Antônio Fagundes. And speaking of television, she has no projects in sight. “After the season in São Paulo, we go to Portugal and return to Brazil to tour several cities. TV is a distant project.
