Diogo Almeida: the ‘Amor Perfeito’ actor is also a psychologist

Diogo Almeidaknown for his role as Orlando Gouveia in the soap opera Perfect love (2023), dedicates himself to a second profession as a psychologist, combining work on the screen with services in his clinic.

During the recording of the telenovela, the actor had to pause his clinical practice, but he returned to assist, including psychological support, the victims of the floods that hit Rio Grande do Sul.

“I try to maintain my services as a psychologist. I spent a week in Rio Grande do Sul providing personalized care and in conversation circles with atypical families. I went because my heart told me to”Diogo said in an interview with Quem.

To reconcile both careers, Almeida has chosen to treat a small number of patients. He emphasizes that psychology and acting complement each other. “When I entered the soap opera I had to organize myself and direct patients to trusted professionals”explains.
