The comedian Ary Toledo, a success on radio and television, died this Saturday, 12, at the age of 87, in São Caetano do Sul, Greater São Paulo. The news was confirmed by the family in a post on social media.

Ary Toledo’s wake will take place this Saturday starting at 2pm, at the Ossel Memorial, in São Caetano. The farewell ceremony will be at 7.00 pm. He will later be cremated. There is no information yet on public access to the site. THE Earth seek contact with the comedian’s consultant.

Born in Martinópolis, in the hinterland of São Paulo, Ary Toledo was born on August 22, 1937. He spent much of his childhood and youth in Ourinhos and moved to the capital at the age of 22. That’s when he started working as a comedian.

Ary Toledo had a gift for telling jokes. He has been very successful on radio and TV, racking up stints on TV Tupi, Record and SBT. In addition to her work as a comedian, she was also a singer, recorded some albums and wrote joke books.
