Presenter Vera Viel has made her first social media post after undergoing an 8-hour surgery to remove a tumor from her left thigh. Rodrigo Faro’s wife was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma and underwent surgery on Friday the 11th, the day before her 49th birthday.

In the caption in which she appears with a cake and balloons, Vera gave the details of the surgery and thanked her for her love and prayers for the recovery of her health. According to the presenter, she received “salvation”.

“First of all I want to thank you for all the prayers and messages of affection! Today I turn 49 with the most beautiful gift I could receive: the presence of the Holy Spirit! I invoked him while I was anesthetized and I experienced an inexplicable sensation during the surgery. I experienced the supernatural. God brought me to that operating room to receive it forever! God takes care of me every moment and I must be glorified!

After surgery to remove the tumor, Vera said she will continue with treatment. The presenter, 49 years old, was hospitalized last week and explained her diagnosis to her followers: “I want to start by thanking God for showing us this disease at the beginning, using people who were like angels and my husband who insisted that I go and get an MRI. I have synovial sarcoma, a rare and malignant tumor on my left thigh, I’m ready to face this battle!”
