The Faro woman underwent surgery to remove synovial sarcoma, a rare tumor found in her left thigh. In a video posted on social media, Vera took a few steps using crutches, showing her progress. “God works miracles and I am one of them,” he wrote in one post.

Over the weekend the former model was admitted to hospital by her husband and daughters. “The girls missed their mother. We have a long way to go, but we have already won in the name of Jesus,” the presenter said in the caption of the publication.
