Vera Viel reflects on October during cancer treatment: ‘I learned so many things’

Vera Viel used his social networks to take stock of the month of October. The presenter was subjected to a surgery to remove a tumor in the left thigh the 11th.

This Friday 2 posted an album of photos from the last month on his Instagram. “The month of October passed and left me with a new life, it was overwhelming and I learned so many things, I received the greatest gift of all on my birthday which was being with Jesus. I want to thank my husband for being always close to me, my daughters and all the thousands of people who prayed for me,” he wrote.

In the stories, Rodrigo Faro’s wife also explained that she will continue to use crutches to walk for a while. “I’ve gotten used to it. The orthopedist asked me not to push myself too hard when I walk. I can’t put that much weight on my left leg, especially since that’s where the tumor was.”

On Thursday 31st the influencer had already thanked her for her recovery. “Today ends the month of October, the month of my birthday, and this year has been different. Now I have two dates to celebrate. October 11th and 12th, I was reborn after the discovery of cancer and I recovered the day before my birthday , during the surgery, because I was in the arms of God,” he said.

Diagnosis

On October 4, Vera told her followers that she had found a lump on her leg. “A couple of weeks ago I felt a lump on my left thigh and then we ran to do some tests and came to the hospital. The doctors decided to do a biopsy because there is a lump on my leg, we have already left it in the hands of God,” he said.

At that time, she asked her followers to pray for her. “We are here in prayer, God willing, it will be a benign lump, I will undergo the surgery and everything will be fine. Now we will wait for the result and then we will see how to proceed”, he explained.

After being diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, the model said, “I want to start by thanking God for showing us this disease in the beginning,” she said.

“God uses people who were like angels and my husband, who insisted I get an MRI. I have synovial sarcoma, a rare and malignant tumor on my left thigh. I am ready to face this battle,” she wrote.
