The musician Bob Bryan44 years old, who was part of the rock group My chemical novel between 2004 and 2010 he was found dead in his home in the US state of Tennessee. The discovery was made this Thursday, the 28th, after 22 days without him being seen or having contact with acquaintances.

According to information from the TMZ website, Bryar’s body was in an advanced state of decomposition. The police do not suspect a fraudulent act, since all the musician’s personal belongings, including weapons and musical equipment, remained intact in the house. The cause of death has not yet been determined and is under investigation.

After the discovery, the local police were also called, who rescued two dogs that were in the residence.

Bryar joined My Chemical Romance in 2004, replacing drummer Matt Pelissier shortly after the release of the album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. He participated in the recording of The Black Parade (2006), one of the band’s most memorable albums. Additionally, he worked on composing tracks for the album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2010), although he left the group before its release.

Guitarist Frank Iero announced Bryar’s separation from the band in 2010, stating at the time: “This was a painful decision for all of us and was not made lightly. We wish him good luck in his future endeavours.”

Bryar left his music career in 2014, moving into real estate. Despite this, he has maintained ties to the art world, taking part in a tribute to Rush drummer Neil Peart in 2020 and auctioning off his drum kit from The Black Parade in 2021 to help an animal shelter.

The My Chemical Romance fan community expressed their emotion on social media, sharing memories and tributes to the musician. The band, which has a legion of admirers, has yet to officially comment on the former member’s death.
