Paolo Giardinibrother of the actress Eliane Giardinipassed away at the age of 62. He suffered a cerebrovascular accident (CVA) and had been hospitalized for over a month. But, after all, who was the actor?

Paulo was born on November 18, 1962 and became known for being one of the greatest actors of Brazilian theater and cinema. The famous man gained notoriety when he starred in the play Timidamente Feliz, by Eugène Labiche, in 1989. In 2000, Giardini became director of the Casa da Gávea, a production center in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

With an extensive CV, Eliane Giardini’s brother has participated in films such as Getúlio, Tropa de Elite 2 and Se eu Fosse Você. On television, the actor was part of the cast of América (2005), Cobras & Lagartos (2006), Paraíso. Tropical (2007), Malhação (2006, 2008, 2015 and 2018), Passione (2010), Fina Estampa (2011), Avenida Brasil (2012), Salve Jorge (2013), A Força do Querer (2017), O Outro Lado from Paraíso (2017) and Pantanal (2022).

In addition to acting, Paulo has managed a pizza buffet service for parties and events for over 15 years.

Eliane Giardini says goodbye to her brother

On social media Eliane Giardini opened her heart and vented after Paulo’s death. “My beloved brother passed away this morning. I am so sorry not to have him here anymore, his intelligence, his precious advice on films, series, books, music. His unconditional affection. His listening and his wise speeches I go I miss you so much brother, I love you infinitely forever”, declared.
