Are they similar? The Davi Brito lookalike competition moves the web

The Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) will hold a lookalike competition this Thursday (19th), at 4.30pm Davide Britoformer BBB and one of the most talked about figures of 2024. The event will take place at the Central Library on the campus of Ondina, Salvador, and promises to attract fans and curious people.

The winner will take home a “Calabresa kit”, in reference to the famous “Calm down, Calabreso” meme, which went viral during Davi’s participation in the Big Brother Brazil 24. According to the organizers, the idea of ​​the award is to celebrate the good humor and popularity of the meme that has become a symbol of Davi’s time on the reality show.

However, the honoree did not initially take the initiative lightly. In a social media post, the former BBB member expressed dissatisfaction, classifying the event as disrespectful. “Don’t get tired of stalking me. I don’t have a day of peace on the Internet. What do you mean they take my image, my name and organize an event without any authorization,” he wrote.

After the negative repercussions and explanations from followers, Davi reconsidered his position. In Instagram Stories he clarified that he didn’t know the competition was a giveaway and apologized for the initial tone of his reaction. “I’m so tired of being attacked on the Internet that I end up overthinking everything. […]”, he said.
