How are you? The son talks about Preta Gil’s health condition

Preta Gil has gone through another phase in his fight against cancer. The singer underwent a new surgery, successfully completed in the early hours of this Friday (20th), at the Sírio-Libanês hospital, in São Paulo. According to family and close friends, the artist is doing well and continues to recover.

Francisco Gil, the singer’s son, took to social media to reassure fans: “Everything is calm here. My mother’s surgery is over and everything is fine with her. Thank you for all the positive energy. She is a warrior and has dealt with this too. We are still strong. Lots of love.”

The singer’s businesswoman and friend, Malu Barbosa, also shared a message: “Preta’s surgery is over, she’s fine and sleeping… She’s a great warrior and she won this one.” Preta Gil was admitted last Wednesday (18 years old) to undergo the procedure. Before surgery, the artist demonstrated strength and confidence in his recovery.

“Here I am, once again faced with a very major surgery, but my faith, my will to live, is greater than anything else.” The decision to perform the procedure came after the medical team found that chemotherapy had not achieved the expected results.
