Luiz Bacci resigns from Record after 15 years: ‘New professional paths’

Luiz Baccipresenter of “City on alert”was fired from Documentation after almost 15 years at home. A few minutes after hosting the program live, the broadcaster issued a statement, guaranteeing that the decision had been made by mutual agreement. According to the Pop TVthe program will be resumed from Reinaldo Gottinowhich currently features the ‘General equilibrium’in Sao Paulo.

What does the broadcaster’s statement say?

In a statement released to the press, the Documentation reported the shutdown of Bacci. “Record informs that as of today, by mutual agreement, the journalist and presenter Luiz Bacci is no longer part of its staff”start.

“Bacci has had a unique career in the broadcaster. He has been a reporter and directed two programs with significant audiences: Balanço Geral and Cidade Alerta. Cidade Alerta, since 2017. After the news broke, the journalist spoke on his social networks. In the post published on his Instagram, Bacci he stressed that the action that would have been taken in March, at the end of his contract, has been brought forward to Friday (17).

“In a podcast interview last November, Bacci had already expressed his desire to explore new professional directions in 2023, and now the plans have been brought forward from March to January. In his farewell, the host expressed gratitude to the broadcaster for the opportunities offered to him were offered to him”he said.
