Paolla Oliveira is preparing to debut like Heleninha Roitman, considered the problematic daughter of Odete Roitman (Débora Bloch) on the remake of “Vale Tudo”, which opens on March 31 in Globo. The artist lives between the escapes and events in the rehabilitation clinics and is marked by tragedies and recurrence by excessive use of alcohol.

“I had AA (anonymous alcoholics) meetings during my preparation, where I was very well welcomed. They opened a space that is very individual and precious for them. I had there in women’s meetings and I saw how beyond the disease, they still have a stigma to be women. Copacabana Palace, in Rio.

Back from a long period of rehabilitation, Heleninha begins the plot determined to regain the custody of his son James (Pedro Waddington), the result of his marriage with Marco Aurélio (Alexandre Nero), director of the TCA and a trusted man of Odete – the great bad of the plot.

Despite the surprising scenes of Heleninha, who at the time was considered fun when he was “fucking”, Paola hopes that people now see the problem as a disease and that the theme will be discussed seriously, as it is very common in society.

“Our soap opera have this function, which is to watch and see our Brazil projected there. And then, when we come to Heleninha, we have a dense and deep character, today we can know that she is sick. We have this conscience … When I talk to people, they are aware of it, I think we could laugh at some situations that would be impossible today.”

“I am never very thinking for things”

The actress also said that she herself asked to prove the iconic character, lived by Renata Sorrah in the first soap opera, in 1988 and admitted that the documents do not appear easily.

“I have never been very designed for things and Heleninha was not different. I think it’s good. It’s another challenge. My career has been all the risk, not accommodating, not in compliance with what they only give me,” the artist confessed.

“It is another step of my career, by the way, a nice moment in which I live, I am very proud of this moment, but once again it risks,” he added.
