The singer Lexa was officially presented as a godmother of the Dragyes battery from Real Samba School in an event held on Saturday (June), at the Samba Factory, in San Paolo. The moment marks the artist’s return to the Carnival scenario, after a departure period for health reasons that prevented her from participating in Rio de Janeiro Carnival this year.

Previously connected to Unidos by Tijuca as a battery queen, Lexa had to turn off from Rio de Janeiro due to the complications faced during the gestation of her first daughter, Sofia, who unfortunately died three days after birth. This experience, according to the singer herself, has been extremely delicate, involving emotional and significant challenges.

The new phase with Dragons of Real represents not only a Lexa meeting with Samba, but also a recovery of its presence in the parades. In a publication published on his Instagram account, the singer expressed excitement with the new role: “Ready to get to know the samba factory and be crowned Dragon Drum godmother. Let us know our plot 2026 today. I can’t wait to embrace and know everything! I’m happy! This first look is Mara.”
