Maranhense’s pastry chef Denilson Lima, based in San Paolo for six years, has won national importance with a reinterpretation of a classic of June parts: the strawberry of love. The luxurious version he created, called “Strawberries of Love – Jewelry Edition”, viralized on social networks and has attracted the attention of various celebrities.
The first edition of Sweet, launched Tuesday (19), cost $ 2,100 and brought eight units, full of Belgian brigadeiro, ninho of milk or passion. The strawberries are covered with a layer of sugar and decorated with isomal jewels, inspired by the traditional Fabergé eggs of the Russian tsars. Given the high demand, the quickly exhausted initial version, leaving the place to an even more refined new edition, for $ 2,300.
Despite the high price, the demand has exceeded the production capacity of the study, located in the Pinheiros district, in San Paolo. According to the pastry chef, it is common that the boxes run out within a few hours. He stressed that he maintains a daily production limit to preserve the exclusivity of the product. “The boxes are exhausted every record day. We have production limits to maintain exclusivity, but the demand has exceeded all expectations.”
Previously, Denilson had already distinguished himself in the luxury pastry market with artisan Easter eggs that reached $ 15,000. His proposal has always been to combine art, aesthetics and taste. “The hype of the strawberries of love surrounded me everywhere, but I create only when it makes sense for me. And this time it made it total: I found in them a space to channel my aesthetics, my truth and transform a candy into art and experience.”
The success was guided by posts by artists and influencers. Bruna Marquezine, for example, received the personalized box and reacted: “Guys, it is much more beautiful in person. This is eating, gives mercy. What beautiful.” Lucas Rangel commented on the networks: “Simply the strawberry of love for 2 thousand reais. They are only speechless, it looks like a lie! Would you buy?”
In addition to them, names such as Silvia Braz, Carlinhos Maia, Camila Queiroz, from Ferrero and Malu Borges also demonstrated delicacy and have helped to spread the news. Caramella, which combines visual refinement and nostalgic charm, has consolidated as an element of desire among the most visible circles of the Internet.
Finally, Denilson defines his creation as more than a candy: “Requests that do not stop coming and that feeling that we could play real people. I always say that I do not create dessert, I will tell stories.”
