Vale Everything cut scenes that included the hype from the Internet

Globe excluded from the final version of the chapter of “Vale Tudo” broadcast on 20 August all the sequences that mentioned “Strawberry of love”. The station made this decision in the final phase of the episode, held in its structures. The scenes had been recorded with actors Thiago Martins and Ingrid Gaigher, interpreters of the characters Vasco and Lucimar.

The content was removed because, at the time foreseen for viewing, the theme no longer had the same relevance on digital platforms. The sequences had been prepared at the end of July as a complement to the original script, with the aim of taking advantage of the popularity that Candy has reached on the Internet.

The advanced production structure of the soap opera, with several chapters already written and registered, has made it difficult to include the material on the “Strawberry of love”. The almost a month between the recording of the scenes and their possible transmission contributed to the subject to lose reality.

The issuer has successfully implemented the insertion of topics highlighted in social networks to establish the connection with the most connected public. However, in this specific case, the time spent between production and transmission has compromised the strategy.

There are no indications on the possible future use of eliminated scenes or will be stored permanently. When consulted on the possibility of reintroducing the sequence at another moment of the plot, Globo did not comment.
