Criticized, Bruna Griphao admits mistake with the dress at Lexa’s wedding: ‘I was embarrassed’

Bruna Griphao gained attention on social media after admitting the bridesmaid dress she wore to her wedding Lexa AND Ricardo Vianna, held last Friday (10th), it didn’t really work. The outfit, which looked like a mix of two different dresses, became the target of criticism and memes.

On Saturday morning (11), the actress appeared in stories to explain what happened. In no uncertain terms, she admitted the look was “awful” and revealed her issues ahead of the ceremony. “Dress controversy. Guys, I know the dress was horrible, okay. But what happened: that wasn’t the proposal. I only got the dress 10 minutes before the wedding and hadn’t been able to try it on before. Either I went that way and saved the ceremony, or I went home, put on another one and arrived late, ruining everything,” said.

The former BBB said that despite her frustration, she chose to prioritize her friend. “It wasn’t supposed to be two dresses, it wasn’t anything like that. But I remembered Viviane telling me, ‘Today isn’t about you, it’s about the bride’. So I went over there, had a few drinks and really enjoyed myself. The wedding was amazing, we went to celebrate love, and now it’s a story worth telling,” he said in good humor.

She also revealed that the dress was not sewn when she put it on.. “To give you an idea, everything was open at the back. Someone had to do some improvised sewing at the party. I even thought about changing it, but I did it anyway. Was I embarrassed? Yes. But I’d rather be embarrassed in the dress than disturb my friend’s ceremony”fired.

Ultimately, Griphao clarified that the episode didn’t shake her. “Today there is already a field in Salgueiro, I will be beautiful, everything will be fine”, he concluded by laughing at the situation.
