Vini Jr. says Virginia Fonseca was his best date

Football player Vinicius Júnior, 25, said that Virginia Fonseca, 26, was the best girl he had ever been in a relationship with. The comment was made by the athlete last week, in a post on TikTok, when he hypothesized a love story with the influencer, but the statement only had repercussions on the night of Monday the 13th.

In the publication, Vini Jr. shared a video together with Virginia, confirming the relationship. One user commented on the fact that the player had “cleaned up” on social media, even unfollowing ex-boyfriends. “Wow, he stopped following people, he posted Virginia… he literally shut my mouth,” the internet user wrote. The athlete replied: “She is the bravest, right?”

A few days after the video and comment went viral, the relationship took a hit. Printouts of Vini Jr.’s conversations with other women began circulating on social media. One of these was the Brazilian Day Magalhães, who exhibited nude exchanges and flirtations with the player.

With the backlash, Virginia confirmed, on Tuesday 7th, the end of their romantic involvement, underlining that “it was never a serious thing” and that the two “no longer knew each other”. The next day the attacker publicly apologized, acknowledging his mistakes and praising the influencer. “I recognize that I did not respond as I would have liked. Virginia is an admirable woman, an incredible mother. I wish her all the happiness in the world,” he wrote.

On Saturday 11th Virginia revealed that she is willing to give love a second chance. “I thought that no matter how wrong he was, he had the attitude of a man when he apologized to me,” she said in a recent interview.

The influencer also confirmed that he received a bouquet of flowers from the player. “The question now is that he follows his life, I will follow mine… and, if it’s meant to be, it will be.”
