Collaborators, celebrities, politicians and personalities have mourned the death of the actress Claudia Jiménez, died this Saturday, 20 years old, at the age of 63. She was hospitalized in Rio de Janeiro.
On social media, Miguel Falabella – who worked with Claudia in the humorous “Sai de Baixo” – posted a photo with his colleague with a message in his honor.
“Now I’m lying there, acting a movie in my head, trying to hold back the many laughs we had, the pleasure of acting together, their one and only once in a lifetime comic moment,” he wrote.
Actor and comedian Helio de La Peña, who was part of the cast of Casseta & Planeta, described Claudia as “one of the greatest comedians in Brazil”.

Politicians like Rio de Janeiro’s governor, Cláudio Castro, and the mayor of the state capital, Eduardo Paes, have also mourned the loss. “Sad for the death of this very special woman. Thank you so much for the many laughs and moments of joy that her art has given us. My condolences to friends and relatives,” wrote Paes.
We will all fondly remember the unforgettable roles played by Claudia Jimenez in soap operas and comedy shows. Dona Cacilda, from “Escolinha do Professor Raimundo”, and Edileuza, from “Sai de Baixo”, among many other characters, leave us nostalgic.
