The band remains separate, but will perform in support of the city of Busan
Separated since June of this year, when they announced a hiatus from the group, BTS members are already scheduled to perform together again. According to a statement released by Hybe, the agency responsible for the group’s career, the boyband K-pop will perform for free on October 15 in Busan, South Korea.
The event will be held in support of the city’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo. Still to comefrom the name of the group’s album, it will receive 100,000 people at the venue, plus 10,000 at Busan International Airport, where it will be broadcast simultaneously.
Even those who are out of town will not miss the presentation, which will be shown virtually on the Weverse, Zepeto and Naver Now platforms.
The group is expected to make other investments in support of the city. However, it’s still on hiatus, so members can focus on their solo careers.
