2022 Emmy: Zendaya breaks her own record and becomes the youngest actress to receive two statuettes

Rue, in ‘Euphoria’, won the category of best dramatic actress

Zendaya establish a new record in Emmy Awards 2022 becoming the youngest woman to reap a double prize win. At the event which took place on Monday evening, 12, she won her second statuette for Best Actress in a Drama Series for euphoriafrom HBO.

In 2020 the artist had already won the award for his performance in the series, with the character Rue. In 2021 you did not compete, as the production was outside the eligibility period of the edition.

Zendaya has competed with big names like Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Laura Linney (Ozark), Reese Witherspoon (The Morning Show) and Killing Eve duo Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh.

Euphoria has been confirmed for a third season, but she doesn’t have a premiere date yet. The first two seasons are available on HBO Max.
