According to People magazine, actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin have given up on divorce. After Flavin’s quarrels and ink-covered tattoos on Stallone’s body, the couple decided to resume their 25-year marriage.
According to a source in the publication, the two would be “happy” together again, just over a month after the announcement of the end of the marriage.
A representative of the actor confirmed to the American site Page Six: “They decided to meet at home, where they talked and were able to resolve their differences. Both are extremely happy,” he said.
The official justification for the separation, according to documents revealed by TMZ, had been financial.
Flavin claimed that Stallone transferred funds from the couple without their authorization. According to the website, the divorce papers state that the plaintiff “engaged in the intentional dissipation, exhaustion and / or waste of marital assets that had a negative economic impact on the marital inheritance.”
But there are also reports that the final straw was Stallone’s decision to have another dog. The “Rocky” star brought home a Rottweiler, despite his wife being against it. The argument would have raised other issues for the couple, which provoked a heated confrontation at the end of August. Soon after, the actor was surprised by the discovery of the divorce petition in the court of Palm Beach, Florida.
News of the reconciliation came just days after Stallone posted two photos on Instagram with Jennifer – one holding her hand and the other with the whole family – with the word “wonderful” next to it.
The couple have been together since May 1997 and have three daughters, Scarlet, Sistina and Sophia.
