Mark Ruffalo goes Brazilian and tweets with Juliette, Preta Gil, Cleo, Porchat and Pabllo Vittar

American actor Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk in Marvel movies and series, has started interacting on Twitter with several Brazilian celebrities in Portuguese. Entering the electoral climate this weekend, he went “Brazilian” and commented on famous posts on the presidential vote. With good humor, he also joked with Fábio Porchat about the choreography of Anitta’s “Envolver”.

The first personality retweeted by the Hollywood star was Juliette. “The world is watching with great attention and appreciation as Brazilians make bold choices to defend their democracy and improve their lives. Here is an encouraging call for courage for Brazilian women from Juliette,” Ruffalo wrote, along with a BBB 21 “champion post on a call to vote for women.

He then commented on a comment by Pabllo Vittar on hunger and food insecurity. “Queen Pabllo Vittar had clear ideas about her: a government that cares for her people can make the difference between life and death. Listen to her,” said Ruffalo.

Then he reinforced Cleo’s demand for women to vote. “The wave is growing! Democracy will win,” she added.

He also commented on a post by Preta Gil on empowerment through voting. “Democracy can inspire courageous decisions in the name of our families and for our planet. The consequences are particularly high in this Sunday’s elections and the Brazilians are up to the task. Nice to see!”, She commented.

When it was Porchat’s turn, he joked: “Brazilian friends, if you go to vote on Sunday, Fábio Porchat promised to teach me to dance Anitta’s ‘Envolver’.”

The star also commented on posts by PT deputy candidates and indigenous leadership Sonia Guajajara, who is running for PSOL. “Indigenous leaders have the wisdom we need to wake us from our collective nightmare. We need to listen to them. We need to wake up. Together,” she tweeted.

A few months ago, Ruffalo showed his interest in elections in Brazil by inviting young Brazilians aged 16 to 18 to take their electoral registration. “What happens in Brazil is important to all of us. Your vote is your power,” he wrote at the time.
