Singer Simony celebrated the evolution of the treatment against cancer in the intestine. Through a photo posted on his profile on Instagramthe artist stated that the tumor has shrunk by more than 50% and that, from now on, he will only undergo radiotherapy sessions.
“This is a thank you photo,” he wrote. She also talked about her self-esteem during the treatment and talked about the use of hair implants.
“I’m bald, like many, but I’m not used to it and that’s okay too. Everyone here at home thinks I’m handsome like that,” he said.
Simony added that she was “focused and on the road to recovery”. “It is not easy to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself. We are strong and only those who undergo this treatment know it,” she wrote.
The artist took the opportunity to thank the support received from fans and family since the beginning of the treatment. “I love you,” she concluded.
Simony was diagnosed with bowel cancer in August after undergoing a colonoscopy. At the time, the oncologist Fernando Maluf explained that the singer’s treatment involves chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions.
