This Sunday (6), Lula and Geraldo Alckmin will return to the scene of the beginning of the political “appointment”.
It was in the apartment of lawyer, philosopher and former Federal MP Gabriel Chalita that they met for the first time, in July, to build the ticket that won the presidential election.
This time, the meeting will be to celebrate Alckmin’s birthday, who turns 70 this Monday (7). Lula reached 77 on October 27.
The guest list was approved by Ms. Lu, wife of the elected vice president. Some politicians, longtime loyal friends and media personalities.
Chalita’s apartment, in Higienópolis, a luxury neighborhood in the central area of São Paulo, is located a few meters from the building where Jô Soares lived and the building where former president Fernando Henrique Cardoso lives.
Former education secretary of the government of São Paulo during the administration of Alckmin and a former candidate for mayor of the capital at the request of Fernando Haddad in 2016, the intellectual is said to take a ministry in the Lula government.
Currently without a party, Gabriel Chalita was from PDT, PMDB, PSB and PMDB. A member of the Academia Paulista de Letras, he has published nearly 100 books.
