Actress Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she has been proposed on the set of her new film, ‘A Christmas Crush’, released last Thursday (10/11) by Netflix.
In an interview with Ross Mathews on Drew Barrymore’s talk show, Lindsay said her boyfriend Bader Shammas made a surprise appearance on set. “She proposed to me on the set of ‘A Christmas Crush.’ I mean, on set, while we were shooting,” she said.
He added that he had to hide the news from colleagues. “I couldn’t tell anyone because I didn’t want to distract myself from our work and stuff. So I hid that I was engaged, while also busy with the film,” the actress said, laughing.
Lindsay and Bader Shammas, an executive at Credit Suisse bank in Dubai, UAE, started dating in February 2020. The engagement was announced in November last year, right around the time the actress was working on ‘Uma Quedinha from Christmas”.
The two also got married. The wedding took place in April of this year, but was only revealed last July by Instagram.
When asked about marriage, she said she is shy when talking about her relationship, because she is very “protective” of the relationship. Despite this, she has stated that she wants to have children.
