It is not known what the flower of the new Russian grandmothers looks like today!

When we talk about old school humor, we of course remember “Full House”, “Crooked Mirror” and “Laughing Panorama”. Many artists have given us many fun and classy days.

Surely among your favorites was (and still is) the duo “New Russian Grandmas”, which was played by Igor Kasilov and Sergey Chvanov. The image of Matryona and the flower was invented by comedians as an experiment, which nevertheless not only succeeded, but worked 100%.

Initially, the partners performed in small towns, but they could not go unnoticed and very soon entered the team of Yevgeny Petrosyan’s “Crooked Mirror” theater, which glorified them throughout the country.

Years have passed, and today the “new Russian grandmothers” have returned to the original. The former popularity has passed, and comedians roam the cities of Russia, speaking on behalf of loyal fans.

We decided to find out what Igor Kasilov alias Flower looks like today, and we have to admit that we didn’t recognize him right away. And the point here is not only the absence of the usual scarf and grandmother’s dresses, but also age. Yes, the years pass, people change.
