Maju Coutinho celebrates one year in the “Fantástico” program. The journalist celebrated the brand this Monday (11/21) with a series of photos of some of the extraordinary moments she experienced during her participation in the TV program Globo, which she co-hosts with Poliana Abritta.
Among the images collected in two posts on Instagram, Maju appears alongside personalities such as Viola Davis, Maria Bethânia, Alcione and Gilberto Gil. Recently, the journalist also interviewed Janja Silva, wife of President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
“Celebration part 2: today a year of ‘Show da Vida’ is completed, bringing with me encounters that have filled my soul with satisfaction and my head with good ideas. Thank you! Kisses to all those who are part of this trip,” she wrote in the caption of one of the posts.
Maju’s career began at TV Cultura in 2005, but took off for good a decade later, when he became responsible for weather forecasting at “Jornal Nacional”. In 2019, she became the first black woman to feature JN, albeit at the end.
Maju ended up leaving meteorology permanently that same year to become the anchor of “Jornal Hoje”, replacing Sandra Annenberg. She joined ‘Fantástico’ in October 2021 when Tadeu Schmidt left the program for ‘Big Brother Brasil’.
