Erasmo Carlos, far beyond Jovem Guarda, was a very talented singer and composer, author of many of the songs that most moved Brazilians in recent decades. TremendĂ£o, friend of the faith, companion brother, sang of love, the strength of women and concern for the environment.

On your Instagram, Mary Bethany posted a video of him appearing to sing along with “TremendĂ£o” to honor him.
“What a shame!” wrote the singer. Ney Matogrosso also on his Instagram in the caption of a photo with Erasmus.
djavan posted a photo of Erasmo Carlos and lamented, “The departure of Erasmo Carlos, the eternal TremendĂ£o, is sad. Farewells are always difficult, but beyond the nostalgia, the legacy of this great artist will remain.”
Singer Vanessa da Mata was another artist who spoke about the departure of the “gentle giant”.
“A love that exists. A boy with humor, poetry, melody, who was a trail of light wherever he went! Go in peace, kind! May your sum placed here, be a continuation of your kindness,” she wrote.
