Florinda Meza, Dona Florinda, on re-screening of ‘Chaves’: ‘Can’t wait to see Roberto’

For Stage, the actress recalls the case and regrets learning about the decision “too late”. “You saddened me a lot, because, moreover, I was not informed. I learned about it like all of you, through the media”, she comments.

He says he has faced criticism from people who claimed they allowed the show to air. “It would be like shooting yourself in the foot, because as a collaborator, it’s important for my work to have presence,” she says.

Despite wanting the public to have the opportunity to see the series again, a need weighs even more so that Florinda continues to fight for her reply: “I can’t wait to see Roberto, even if it’s on video”.

The actress remembers her husband fondly and to this day, she posts the memories she has of him on social media. “I have pictures of him here at my house Mexico from all sides I say “good morning” and “good night”. The legacy she left is funny, and that’s very important, because laughter is the divine touch,” she says.
