Florinda Meza has reacted to the rumor that she has a net worth of $20 million, combined with her career earnings and what she inherited from her husband, Roberto Bolaños.

“Never! Not even selling my house in Cancún and Mexico City would add that value. I wish it were. What nonsense,” said the actress, famous for playing Dona Florinda in the series ‘Chaves.’

He said he doesn’t live in affluent neighborhoods in the Mexican capital. “My home is in Colonia Del Valle, a proletarian neighborhood.”

It is not so. Historical records show that the region was born aristocratic and has always been occupied by Mexico’s intellectual elite.

His neighbors are actors, singers, directors, journalists, writers, sportsmen, stars and bullfighters. Nothing resembles the suburbs of a metropolis.
