Babi Reveals His Plans After Winning ‘A Fazenda’

The winner of “A Fazenda 14”, Bárbara Borges, known as Babi, has revealed that she will use the R$ 1.5 million she earned in the reality show to guarantee the best possible education for her children and will also pay off her debts. In an interview with the Record group, she stressed that more than money, what will change her life is the impact of her participation in the program.

“I always think about ensuring my children’s education. Everything is geared towards my puppies,” she said of how she will spend the money.

“I entered reality with the desire to really be the champion of this edition, because I needed to return to television. The award was always a consequence, but the goal was to return to a program with a large audience like ‘A Fazenda’. I want to go back to working as an actress, that’s my job,” she said.

While confined, Babi admitted that he had no money to support her and her two sons: Martin Bem, eight, and Theo Bem, six, both born of her marriage to businessman Pedro Delfino, from whom she has already separate.

Before joining “A Fazenda 14”, the actress had been unemployed for three years, since she made the soap opera “Jesus” (2018) right on Record. She is still facing financial problems due to the covid-19 pandemic and her award will help her get out of debt.

She said she also tried to become a digital influencer but failed.

“I was struggling with money. And struggling. The internet was never my forte. I always did my best to make money, make money [na web]🇧🇷 I see you all do it. It has always been a very big effort for me,” she said, in conversation with other attendees.

Babi began her career in television at the age of 16, as a paquita of Xuxa Meneghel in 1995.
