Flávia, Kely, Celeste, daughters of Leather and his stepdaughter, Gemina, has found a way to perpetuate a tribute to king of football. They have tattooed messages to Edson Arantes do Nascimento on their arms.
Helo Oriola was responsible for the ex-player’s written messages to his daughters. Flávia opted for three hearts, in reference to the King’s hometown, as did Kely, who did the same, but in red.
Celeste made the phrase: “With love, from your dads” and three hearts. While Gemina, tattooed: ‘From dad’ and a heart.
“I had the honor of immortalizing the greatest sentiment in the world in these dear ones (…) She and her family have come to immortalize love, admiration and a wish. A wish where in the world he is the king, but to them he was a father, a friend, an adviser! Surely where he is, he is very happy with all these tributes,” wrote Helo Oriola in his networks.
Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known as Pelé, died last Thursday, 29, at the age of 82, at the Israelite Albert Einstein hospital, in Sao Paulo, where he had been hospitalized since November 29. Terra confirmed the information with the hospital and learned the cause of death was multiple organ failure, a result of the progression of colon cancer.
Born in Três Corações, Minas Gerais, the football king was born on October 23, 1940 and since 2021 he had been battling colon cancer, a disease that metastasized to the intestine, lungs and liver. On the day of his admission, he was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. In recent days, doctors have announced the progression of the disease.
