Jeremy Renner posts first video from hospital after crash: ‘Spa day’

Actor Jeremy Renner, interpreter of Hawkeye in Marvel films and series, has published a new post on social networks to update his fans on his recovery after suffering a serious accident with a snow machine.

In a video posted to his Twitter, Renner appears in the hospital while his sister washes his hair. “It’s my first bath in a week or so,” he joked. “Disgusting”. In the caption of the video, he wrote: “A ‘not great’ day in the ICU turned into a great spa day with my sister and mother. Thank you so much.”

In the video it is possible to notice that Renner is still quite debilitated from the accident. He is on a respirator, speaks with difficulty and seems quite weak. But the good news for fans is that he doesn’t seem to have lost his good humor.

While this is the first video Renner has shared from the hospital, it’s not the first time he’s provided updates on his condition himself. On Tuesday (3/2), the actor shared a short message on social media. “Thank you all for the nice words,” he wrote on his Instagram about him. “I’m too broke right now to type. But I’m sending you all my love.”

The actor’s sister, Kim Renner, also provided some information about him. “Anyone who knows Jeremy knows that he’s a fighter and he’s not joking. He’s exceeding all expectations of progress,” she said in a testimony to the American channel CBS.

Renner’s accident occurred on Sunday (1/1) at his home on Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains of the United States. He was hit by a snow removal machine while helping a family member whose car was stuck in ice. An EMS tape obtained by TMZ claims his body was crushed by the weight of the car. According to the region’s authorities, the equipment weighs 6.5 tons, equal to more than three cars.
