Regina Duarte radicalized her extremist behavior this Monday (13/2), by publishing a homophobic post on her Instagram.
The 76-year-old retiree made fun of the LGBTQIAP+ acronym and sexual identities, posting an openly prejudiced manifesto. The text states that, regardless of being “LGBTQQICAPF2K+”, the person “has only two options” when in need of sexual care, which would be “the gynecologist and the urologist”.
“Is it possible that this post of mine is ‘being’ disrespectful to – the ‘everything’ of our Brazil?!” he added, making fun of non-binary people. “The intention is purely: scientific!” she joked.
It is not the first time that Regina Duarte has made a post biased with the term all on Instagram. Last month, you criticized the use of the term neutral in official ceremonies by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s (PT) government, saying the expression was “nonsense”.
The use of the term “everyone” is a way to promote the identity inclusion of non-binary people, i.e. people who do not identify with the male or female gender.
Non-binary language has been criticized by former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), of whom Regina Duarte is an advocate and served as Culture Secretary in 2021.
