28-year-old Tessa Gurin is one of the six children of the legendary Jack Nicholson, but the actor almost never spoke publicly about their relationship. The other day, she broke her silence by giving a frank interview to the Daily Beast. According to Tessa, 85-year-old Nicholson paid for her education, but was never interested in socializing.
From a very young age, my mother asked me not to tell anyone that I have a famous dad, – admitted Tessa. – I knew that he was powerful and rich, and therefore I felt like an “orphan”. When you are a child, you have no choice. Because if your mother pushes you towards someone who is technically your father, and he in turn condescends to see you for a couple of hours, you just do it. I don’t know this man very well, let’s be honest.
Tessa stressed that she never had a “concrete answer” why the famous father was so little involved in her life.
I have my own opinion. He’s a complex person and I think my mom is fighting her own demons and the combination of the two made me just a collateral damage,” she said.
The girl inherited Nicholson’s love for acting, however, by her own admission, she did not dare to continue her career in the film business.

Little is known about Tessa’s mother Jennin Gurin. The woman worked as a New York real estate agent. Jack Nicholson has never publicly acknowledged paternity, but insiders claim that it is obvious.
