Grace Van Dien, from ‘Stranger Things, turned down jobs after sexual advances from producers

After giving life to Chrissy Cunningham in ‘Stranger Things’, many wondered why Grave Van Dien decided to move away from the cameras and focus on his profession as a streamer: “I can stay inside my house and play video games, and my boss won’t let me asks me to have sex with them.

Grace Van Dien played Chrissy Cunningham in season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’. Despite being a small role that lasted (alive) a single episode, she was a character who marked the plot. Van Dien’s interpretation, and her connection to Joseph Quinn’s Eddie Munson, was highly praised by fans and the truth is that many thought that she had star potential in the young woman.

That is why some did not understand that Van Dien turned down jobs to focus on his career as a video game streamer, under the alias Bluefille. The reason is sad, and unfortunate, and a new reminder for those who still do not understand why innuendoes or compliments are wrong in a workplace, especially when they are made by people in positions of power.

Grace Van Dien decided to take some time away from the recordings and focused on the streamer after suffering several bad experiences on filming sets. While she was streaming on Twitch on March 7, Van Dien explained her facts to her viewers:

The thing is this. I’ve seen some people get upset with me for turning down acting projects and deciding to stream more, but the fact is that the last few projects I’ve worked on I didn’t have the best experiences with some of the people I had to work for.

Later, he gave more details, with statements that fall into the field of sexual harassment:

In one of the last movies I did, one of the producers asked me to… He was hiring a girl he was sleeping with and she asked me to have a threesome with them. So… that was my boss. I didn’t and I cried and was very upset. That’s what I think of when people say, ‘How is streaming better for your mental health?’ This is how I can stay inside my house and play video games, and I don’t have my bosses asking me to have sex with them.

The actress and content creator seems to be happy, at least, with these projects:

I am happy here and I am developing my own projects. I hope someone decides to finance them because then I can have control of my own set and I’m not going to ask my actors to sleep with me.

Anyway, it’s maddening to think that because of the same sick slobbers as always we have lost a new television star. But we have no doubt that we will hear from Grace Van Dien, aka Bluefille, again very soon. Whether in her projects or in others where there are no producers looking for prostitutes to have threesomes with their employees…

The first four seasons of ‘Stranger Things’ are already available on Netflix, pending the arrival of season 5, which will be the last.
