On March 11, the capital’s Live Arena concert venue hosted the premiere of the exclusive production “GREAT LOVE”, which is a synthesis of classical music, opera and ballet. That evening, the stage was divided into two parts: one housed the orchestra under the direction of the chief conductor of the State Kremlin Orchestra Konstantin Chudovsky, and the second became the main place for unity of magnificent music, unforgettable dance and exciting voices of opera performers.

It was possible to attract top artists to the theatrical production. Stars of the world opera – Ildar Abdrazakov, Agunda Kulaeva and Askar Abdrazakov – performed solo parts from the classical repertoire. The best parties of the legendary classical ballet performances “Swan Lake”, “Carmen”, “Scheherazade”, “The Talisman”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “La Sylphide”, “Don Quixote”, “Corsair” were performed for the audience by ballet stars: Ivan Vasiliev, Maria Vinogradova, Igor Tsvirko, Kristina Kretova, Eleonora Sevenard, Ekaterina Pervushina, Evgeny Zhukov, Anastasia Limenko, Ivan Oskorbin. Classical music virtuosos — violinist Maxim Fedotov and pianist Andrey Pisarev — graced the program of the evening with solo numbers.

The guests of the large-scale social event were Yana Rudkovskaya, Olga Buzova, Ida Galich, Alika Smekhova, Irina Bezrukova, Alexander Buynov, Mikhail Turetsky, Anna Kotova-Deryabina and others. The splendor and variety of classical forms in the new production of “GREAT LOVE” will be able to be seen by the general public on the “Culture” TV channel.
