In 2022, actor Matthew Perry, best known for Friends, released his memoir. In a candid book, he shared his feelings about the death of colleagues and other thoughts. For some reason, Perry mentioned Keanu Reeves in a negative way. A line from the memoirs said:

Why do original thinkers like River Phoenix and Chris Farley die while Keanu Reeves still walks among us?

This remark angered Reeves fans and others who found it offensive. In a recent appearance at the Los Angeles Times, Perry said that Keanu Reeves would be cut from the new edition of his memoir. The actor also apologized to the public and the actor.

I said stupid. It was a vile act. I publicly apologized to him. Future versions of the book will not have his name. If I meet this guy, I’ll apologize. It was just stupid.

Recall that for four years, Keanu Reeves has been happily in a relationship with the artist Alexandra Grant. During this time, the couple managed to gain fame as the most restrained couple in Hollywood. They rarely talk about their family life, rarely go out together and never show tender feelings in public. In the middle of this month, Keanu and Alexandra appeared at the Museum of Modern Art gala in Los Angeles. They made their first public debut as a couple in November 2019. In 2020, Alexandra was often seen with Reeves in the evenings after filming shifts, including the fourth “Matrix”.
