In the cinema “KARO 11 OCTOBER” within the framework of the 45th Moscow International Film Festival, the Russian premiere of a new animated film “Yaga and the Book of Spells” took place. The cartoon will be released in wide Russian distribution on April 27, 2023. The animation film was presented to the capital’s audience by director Vladimir Sakov, producer and voice actor Fyodor Bondarchuk, producer Alexander Chistyakov, as well as voice actors — ray! (Lydia Chistyakova-Ionova), Diomid Vinogradov, Vera Chistyakova-Ionova, Zlata Osipova and other members of the creative team.
We wanted to make an animated film that would tell a new story of well-known characters from familiar and beloved fairy tales, and along the way, we also came up with several completely new characters. The Yaga and the Book of Spells project was created by a wonderful team of real adult professionals with no less talented children who together came up with this exciting family story, commented film producer Alexander Chistyakov.
The secular premiere was attended by many guests, among whom were representatives of various fields of art and show business with their children.
