Danilo Carrera left Mexico on Friday, May 5, after finishing his professional duties to fully concentrate on the health of his mother, Mrs. Elsa Huerta, who is in Miami undergoing treatment to eradicate cancer from which suffers.
The Ecuadorian shared a short clip on his Instagram stories where he appears to be on a plane about to take off and added the message: “We will see each other again. I love you Danilocas.”
At noon on May 6, Carrera posted a video of his flight and showed how he took off from the Aztec territory, to say goodbye and thank him for the experiences he had while living there.
“What a journey! What an adventure! What a conquest! It may (go) a long time without seeing each other and we will miss each other very much, stories will be made about me too, I can still promise you one thing and one thing only, that when I return, I will I’m better,” wrote Danilo in the melancholy post.
Friends, colleagues in the media and hundreds of fans sent him wishes for his mother to beat the disease.
Danilo Carrera will take a break from acting
In March, the star of the telenovela El Amor Invencible confirmed to Despierta América that the decision to stop his career was to focus on his mother’s health.
“My mom is going through a process where she’s going through treatments where she’s trying to get her health back, she’s doing it step by step […] The reason is my mother, I’m finishing a novel, I have to record a film and I’m going with her to Miami, I’m closing the circles in Mexico to be with her indefinitely,” he had said at the time.
For Ecuador, the most important thing is family, so he did not hesitate to return to Miami: “At the end of the day, she is the woman of my life, the woman who made me the man I am today, there is nothing to leave here ( in Mexico) that it’s worth not spending time with her.”
“I love Mexico, it’s the city I want to live in,” he said and made it clear that he would like to return at some point.
