Jeremy Renner shows a speedy recovery from crash that broke 30 bones

Actor Jeremy Renner (“Hawkeye”) is getting stronger after the serious accident he suffered in the snow in January of this year. In the videos released by the actor on Instagram, he appears while walking and also doing some exercises to strengthen his leg muscles.

“I decided to get over the pain of progress (that damn shattered shin) and take the new parts for a little test drive,” Renner says in the post caption. “The body is miraculous… Even though I feel like the tin man, I need oil for all of my new joints (hips, knees, ankles, shinbones, etc.),” she added.

He also commented that he felt encouraged after the warm-up. “Don’t tell my coach,” he jokes, accompanied by a laughing emoji.

The 52-year-old artist is recovering quickly after being hit by his own snowplow in an accident that broke more than 30 bones in his body and knocked his eye out of its socket.

The video shows the actor using a pulley attached to a machine to work his leg muscles. He jumps sideways into a squat, then does a few sets of pushups. Then he runs and does a few more stretches before the video ends.

In another post, Renner appears using a walker. Then the video cuts to a scene of the actor walking on a treadmill and then to a moment where he’s walking across the floor without the equipment. The post has several video cuts, demonstrating that his steps gradually become more agile.

“My trainer did this as a reference and to remind me that you can’t walk unless you take one step at a time,” reads the caption. In the publication’s comments, several people celebrated the result. Among them, actor Ryan Reynolds (“Deadpool”) commented: “This is the team!”.
