The other day, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the Scout camp in Slough with their children. During the visit, the Welsh took part in various activities, such as riding an excavator, and later, together with the scouts and their leaders, prepared a camping snack. While 5-year-old Prince Louis was roasting marshmallows over a fire, Kate turned to him:

Throw those skewers on the fire, Lou Bug,” she said.

It seems that inadvertently Kate declassified the home nickname of her youngest son. Lou Bug can be translated into Russian as Bug Lou that’s a really cute name. But why is it one can only guess.

Note that the future Queen of Great Britain gave special nicknames to the rest of the children. Prince George, 9, and Charlotte, 8. So, in March 2019, during a working trip to Northern Ireland, Kate called her daughter the diminutive “Lottie”. And George, according to rumors, is jokingly called “PG” by his parents, which the Wales themselves have not yet confirmed publicly. By the way, George calls his father “dad” William told reporters about this in 2018.

Recall that Prince Louis is known throughout the world for his direct emotional facial expressions. And at the last coronation of his grandfather Charles III, Lou Bagh distinguished himself again, getting in the photo literally yawning from boredom. Meanwhile, his older brother George was not in the mood for jokes: the young prince acted as the main page carrying the mantle of the king.
