The athlete did not remain silent and expressed himself on social networks
Volleyball player and former BBB Key Alves has been the target of sexist comments on social media after revealing some names of celebrities she’s hooked up with. Among the offences, she was called a “walking STD (sexually transmitted disease)”. However, she, the athlete, did not remain silent and intervened on her Twitter profile, exalting her professional goals and clarifying that she is free to do what she wants.
“I am a woman who left home at the age of 14, I worked and fought for my dreams. Today, at 23, I am INDEPENDENT, I am not dependent on ANY MAN, I am a professional athlete, entrepreneur, entrepreneur and millionaire must do,” he wrote.
On the social network, fans of the former BBB rallied in support of the athlete, uploading the tag “KEY DESERVES RESPECT”. The sexist comments were made during the airing of a space reserved for fans of Gustavo Benedeti, with whom Key lived a love story on the reality show Globo.
However, the former BBB has spoken out on social networks and said that he repudiates any kind of attacks on women. He reposted the tag asking for support from his followers.
During his participation in PodCats, which aired last Tuesday (9/5), Key made a list of celebrities he has already dealt with, including José Loreto, João Gomes, Gustavo Mioto and Xamã. She also revealed that she would like to have a relationship with Cauã Reymond. After the offenses, Key Alves received support from fans and friends.
