Caçula also spoke about his mother’s relationship with fans and Rita’s motor difficulties at the end of her life
Antonio Lee, the youngest of Rita Lee, has published a tribute to his mother on his social networks, revealing the details of the last autograph granted by the singer in life. The rocker died on Monday 8, at the age of 75.
In the publication, the youngest tells a little about his mother’s relationship with fans. According to him, Rita Lee has never denied an autograph. “I’ve never seen my mom deny an autograph. The worst thing that could happen to a fan was to arrive without a pen or paper and she let out the famous ‘wow, bug!?’, she wrote.
The youngest said that, during one of his trips to the hospital to visit his mother, his 5-year-old son asked his grandmother for an autograph. This was the last autograph given by Rita while alive.
“First she made the dedication and signature. Then, the flying saucer, probably her favorite subject. She was more and more dedicated to that part. As she finished the drawing, she complained that her hand didn’t obey the way she wanted. Not satisfied with the saucer , she tried to draw another one further to the right, just to prove to herself that she could do a better one, until she vented: “the hand doesn’t work, bag!” shared Antonio.
