Felipe Becari was denounced in parliament for declaring values incompatible with luxury purchases and travel

The MP-SP investigates a possible diversion of resources by an organization that bears the name of the MP and which takes in animals that have been mistreated. The proceeds would be used to pay for personal expenses, such as an engagement ring and a trip to Italy, where the marriage proposal was made.

The procedure was launched to investigate embezzlement and embezzlement offenses in January this year and has seen its deadline extended three times. The trial is monitored by the 5th Prosecutor’s Office for Criminal Justice, which collaborates with the Investigation Division on Crimes against the Civil Police Administration of São Paulo.

Indications of wealth are incompatible with the income of Becari, who, according to the deputy, has been a civilian police officer since he was 23, and is now 36. He was a councilor in São Paulo, the capital, before being elected to the Chamber. He denies all allegations.

On social networks both Becari and Carla Diaz have published notes of clarification. The deputy claimed, through legal advice, that he “has been the subject of completely false and categorically criminal news”. The statement adds that the lawmaker “has taken all appropriate judicial measures to hold those involved accountable, as well as actively collaborating with the authorities to establish the truth.” Becari also specifies that he “asked for the opening of an investigation to ascertain the practice of the crime of persecution, targeting dozens of people already identified”.

The actress also commented on the case on her social networks, citing “anonymous complaints” that found the value of the engagement ring strange and would have motivated the opening of the investigation. According to Carla Diaz, there were also questions about the couple’s trip to Italy. «It was the fruit/payment of my relationship with the brand partners. I have everything documented », she guaranteed.

OR Earth asked Becari for a position on the assets declared to the TSE and on the MPF investigation, but did not receive an answer until these minutes were closed. The text will be updated in the event of an event.
