Although not everyone knows it, Cristian, the eldest son of Dayanara Torres and Marc Anthony, is a talented visual artist.
Although in the past he has already shown signs of what he is capable of creating with his tools, he has now reached another milestone in his life. So boasted his proud mother.
Dayanara and Marc’s oldest son graduated from college
On May 18, the former beauty queen took to her Instagram account to celebrate a milestone in her firstborn’s life: graduating from college.
On this social network he published a photo of the 22-year-old in a hat and a gown. At the bottom of the portrait, she expressed all the pride she felt in seeing him fulfill this dream.
“Too many feelings. My ‘Kitian’ (as he affectionately calls her). You did it! You achieve everything you set out to do, with sacrifice, effort and dedication! You deserve every blessing you receive.”
In addition, Dayanara Torres praised her eldest son’s talent and assured him that he could conquer the world.
“Your talent is beyond words… You have everything and the world is yours!” Finally, she approved of his affection.
Marc Anthony also celebrated his son’s achievement
In another post by Dayanara Torres, it appeared that Marc Anthony and his other son, Ryan, were also present at the ceremony.
“My Kitian. It’s such an honor to watch you grow up to be the smart, loving and talented young man you are. You’re exactly what I dreamed you would be… You’re so incredible my Kitian!”, the former Miss Universe wrote.
Celebrities and fans alike joined in congratulating and wishing the young man who has completed this stage of his life.
Dayanara Torres’ pain turned to satisfaction
In 2019, Dayana showed herself to be vulnerable, not only due to the cancer she was suffering from at the time, but also due to the departure of her eldest son, as she moved to New York to attend university.
Cristian Muñiz is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and to pursue his dream of becoming an artist, the young man had to leave home. However, there is no word yet on whether he will move to Miami with his mother or remain in ‘The Big Apple’.
It is worth remembering that in 2019, Dayanara Torres boasted on her social networks that her eldest son had been accepted to the 4 universities he applied to and two of them offered him a merit scholarship, although he did not specify whether Parsons was on the list.
Cristian already stands out as an artist
Since before graduating, Cristian Muñiz has already shown his talent: his portfolio consists of digital illustrations that pay homage to his favorite characters and some of his own creations.
Just last March, he presented his own rendition of Cthulhu at an exhibition at his university. Most recently, his designs were part of the 2023 Latin American Music Awards, which aired during musical number by singer Young Miko.
As if that wasn’t enough, he has also contributed the designs of “La Borinqueña”, a graphic novel published in Puerto Rico.
